SAGINAW, MI – Women of Colors (WOC) will celebrate a major milestone with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house at its new location, 3057 Davenport Avenue, on Thursday, October 17, from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM. This event marks an important step in WOC’s journey as the organization expands its services and deepens its commitment to the Saginaw community.

The new facility was made possible by $275,000 in funding from the city’s American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds, which helped WOC purchase the building. More recently, the organization received an additional $35,000 from ARPA funds to repair the roof, allowing WOC to make crucial improvements to better serve the community.

Community members are invited to join the celebration, which will feature a silent auction, refreshments, and an opportunity to connect with the WOC team. The event offers a chance to witness the organization’s growth and support its ongoing efforts to empower and uplift women and families in Saginaw.

For more information about the event, contact Women of Colors at (989) 737-9286.
