The Voice of Mid-Michigan’s Diverse Communities for over 22 years
The Michigan Banner is gearing up for its 7th Annual Heart of the City awards banquet, scheduled for Thursday, June 5th, 2025, at the Horizons Conference Center in Saginaw. This inspiring event will once again honor the outstanding individuals and organizations whose service and volunteerism have significantly impacted the Great Lakes Bay Community.
The 2025 banquet will coincide with The Michigan Banner’s 23rd anniversary, marking another year of dedicated community service and engagement.
“We’re thrilled to continue the tradition of the Heart of the City Awards,” said Jerome Buckley, Founder of The Michigan Banner. “Each year, we’re inspired by the incredible dedication and passion of those who make our community a better place. This event is our way of expressing our gratitude and encouraging others to get involved.”
While the theme for the 2025 event has yet to be announced, attendees can expect another evening filled with celebration, recognition, and inspiration. The event will feature a plated dinner, an open bar, and captivating live entertainment.
Tickets are priced at $100 per person and $640 for a table. More information about the event, including the 2025 theme and entertainment lineup, will be released in the coming months.
